Unused Stuff I Found in My Stash!

I was tidying up my make up and beauty stash when I discovered I have tons of unused stuff!

Lookie what I found!

I cannot believe that I have actually hauled so much stuff that I can forget about them. Definitely need to put a stop to buying cosmetics till I have used up my current stash.

Stash includes MAC Technakohl Liner in Auto-De-Blu, Etude House Multi Eye Shadow Brush, MAC Viva Glam Cyndi, Canmake Four Shiny Eyes in 09,

Canmake Gokunobi Mascara, elf Liquid Eyeliner, Waterproof Eyeliner Pen, Daiso Eyeshadow pallette, Kate deep eyes in PU-1, etc.

Guess I'll have to explore these stuff in the coming weeks. I'll show you some swatches in the next post =)

Taking the river taxi like a local was one experience which I like. It was cheap to travel by boat, cost me about 15 bhat per person. We took the river taxi just to get to the flower market, they sell tonnes of flowers at very cheap prices. 5 stalks of roses only cost 25 bhat!

It's been 6 years since my last visit to Bangkok in 2006 and it's really great to be back there. It's hot, dusty and crowded but I like it all the same!

NOTD - The Face Shop

Did a NOTD with this dark maroon-red polish from The Face Shop.

My fingers looked bruised here. Don't know why. Two coats of polish without top coat. In fact, it looks a little black in the photo.

 The polish bottle against my current nail polish remover from Elianto. This remover doesn't have the strong smell which usually comes from remover. Instead, it's strawberry-scented which is quite yummylicious =)

Kose Happy Bath Day Haul

Got this Happy Bath Day Hair Colonge awhile back and the Mist Colonge was a complimentary gift with purchase. Smells of roses in my hair and on my body. XD

Leopard Prints Nail

I was inspired by AMW's post on leopard prints and decided to do this nail art on my toes. 

Products used from left: Etude House BL505, Etude House brown polish with glitters, O2 Skin black polish and a clear top coat to seal it off.

It looks ok from afar, but the black polish is smeared as I applied the top coat before it completely dried =P

 It's my first attempt at leopard prints and I can say I'm quite happy with it!

I miss blogging!

It's been exactly one year since my last post. I've been slacking for so long, I thought I should get back to blogging. Wanted to document my 'make-up' journey and also bits and pieces of my life, so that one day when I look back...at least I know where have I spent all my money..LOL.

Been thinking of doing this post about showdown between 3 BB creams that I have thought of buying after reading Haru's post about non-Korean BB creams, you can take a look here.

My bff advised me to get a sample of each brand to try before purchasing the full sized item. The 3 brands are Dior, Biotherm and Clinique.

My bff, who's a fan of Dior kept persuading me to get Diorsnow but I resisted the urge, as I need to try out all before deciding.

My verdict after trying out all 3? As below..

Dior: Not too heavy, quite liquidy in texture, easy to blend and not too oily. After applying it in the morning, I topped it off with MAC loose powder and I only need to blot maybe after lunch time.

Biotherm: Almost same texture as Dior but lighter in colour. Easy to blend as well. Almost the same staying power as Dior. I would say the coverage is lesser than Dior.

Clinique: Texture is creamier, not so easily blended. Felt a bit dry but made my face oily in shorter span of time as compared to Dior and Biotherm. Coverage is so-so, not very fantastic and colour is very light as well. Perhaps this came in the mini container and caused it to be exposed to air easily, the cream was dried up after one week. Boo.

Overall, I would say Clinique is out of the race, it's a tie between Dior and Biotherm. Dior is definitely on the higher price side..I'm still undecided on which one I should get. Currently I'm using Skin79 and Cybercolor BB creams but finishing soon. Shall update once I've decided on which one to get!
