Here are the swatches of the forgotten eyeliners mentioned in the previous post. Unfortunately one of it is a 'FAIL'.

As you can see, the elf Waterproof Eyeliner Pen is already faded and watery. I guess I have kept it unopened for too long and the ink has vaporized? LOL

A photo of the rest of the eyeliners in case you are interested on how they look like. Essence is a Eurpoean brand that just entered into Singapore's market and it's highly recommended for super affordable cosmetics. The eyeliner pen that I got was only S$5.40. I was so tempted to get the nail polishes as well but I managed to refrain myself =)

Unused Stuff I Found in My Stash!

I was tidying up my make up and beauty stash when I discovered I have tons of unused stuff!

Lookie what I found!

I cannot believe that I have actually hauled so much stuff that I can forget about them. Definitely need to put a stop to buying cosmetics till I have used up my current stash.

Stash includes MAC Technakohl Liner in Auto-De-Blu, Etude House Multi Eye Shadow Brush, MAC Viva Glam Cyndi, Canmake Four Shiny Eyes in 09,

Canmake Gokunobi Mascara, elf Liquid Eyeliner, Waterproof Eyeliner Pen, Daiso Eyeshadow pallette, Kate deep eyes in PU-1, etc.

Guess I'll have to explore these stuff in the coming weeks. I'll show you some swatches in the next post =)

Taking the river taxi like a local was one experience which I like. It was cheap to travel by boat, cost me about 15 bhat per person. We took the river taxi just to get to the flower market, they sell tonnes of flowers at very cheap prices. 5 stalks of roses only cost 25 bhat!

NOTD - The Face Shop

Did a NOTD with this dark maroon-red polish from The Face Shop.

My fingers looked bruised here. Don't know why. Two coats of polish without top coat. In fact, it looks a little black in the photo.

The polish bottle against my current nail polish remover from Elianto. This remover doesn't have the strong smell which usually comes from remover. Instead, it's strawberry-scented which is quite yummylicious =)

I was inspired by AMW's post on leopard prints and decided to do this nail art on my toes.

Products used from left: Etude House BL505, Etude House brown polish with glitters, O2 Skin black polish and a clear top coat to seal it off.

It looks ok from afar, but the black polish is smeared as I applied the top coat before it completely dried =P

It's my first attempt at leopard prints and I can say I'm quite happy with it!

It's been exactly one year since my last post. I've been slacking for so long, I thought I should get back to blogging. Wanted to document my 'make-up' journey and also bits and pieces of my life, so that one day when I look back...at least I know where have I spent all my money..LOL.

Been thinking of doing this post about showdown between 3 BB creams that I have thought of buying after reading Haru's post about non-Korean BB creams, you can take a look here.

My bff advised me to get a sample of each brand to try before purchasing the full sized item. The 3 brands are Dior, Biotherm and Clinique.

My bff, who's a fan of Dior kept persuading me to get Diorsnow but I resisted the urge, as I need to try out all before deciding.

My verdict after trying out all 3? As below..

Dior: Not too heavy, quite liquidy in texture, easy to blend and not too oily. After applying it in the morning, I topped it off with MAC loose powder and I only need to blot maybe after lunch time.

Biotherm: Almost same texture as Dior but lighter in colour. Easy to blend as well. Almost the same staying power as Dior. I would say the coverage is lesser than Dior.

Clinique: Texture is creamier, not so easily blended. Felt a bit dry but made my face oily in shorter span of time as compared to Dior and Biotherm. Coverage is so-so, not very fantastic and colour is very light as well. Perhaps this came in the mini container and caused it to be exposed to air easily, the cream was dried up after one week. Boo.

Overall, I would say Clinique is out of the race, it's a tie between Dior and Biotherm. Dior is definitely on the higher price side..I'm still undecided on which one I should get. Currently I'm using Skin79 and Cybercolor BB creams but finishing soon. Shall update once I've decided on which one to get!

Bought the LUCIDarling Fantastic Gradation Eyes in #1 Gradate Pinky Silver

I love pink but this is my first eye shadow palette in pink!

Shot without flash. Clockwise from top left, base in a light pink-white shade, liner in black with shimmer, highlighter in silver and the main shade which is a lovely pink. It came in a pallete with mirror, 1 sponge brush and a mini eyeshadow brush.

The back of the palette has the graphic instruction on how to apply the different colors. Nice touch!

Also got a Multi Eye Shadow Brush. It's got a unique shape as compared to the eye shadow brushes I already own, so this is a good addition.

I always buy fake lashes but I only use them on special occassions. I don't know why? This is Etude House lashes in Vivid long.

Etude House in Singapore is the only cosmetics brand that I know of, that gives you a sample as soon as you step into their shop. It doesn't matter even if you are browsing without buying. But I did get the below freebies after buying those stuff above.

Total Age Repair Royal Essence sachet, a cute pen, a mini Precious Mineral BB Cream (that can be hooked on to your phone/keychain/etc) and mini bottles of O2 White toner and lotion.

Magazine Freebie & Simple Review of Etude House Cleansing Foam

It is suitable for combination and oily skin (that's my type of skin!)

I've used this for a couple of times and the result is ok. Not too fantastic as my face does get oily after awhile, albeit not as oily as usual.

Just wanted to do a simple review on the below cleanser as well.

Etude House Happy Teatime Cleansing Foam in Green Tea

After using this cleanser for a couple of weeks, i find that it really helps to control my skin's oil and sebum production. Eventhough it is not a high end brand, the result is really good. It smells great, something like a lemon-y type of smell, instead of green tea. It foams easily when lathered with water. After washing, my face feels clean and not too dry. If comparing this with the Clarins Cleansing Foam with Cottonseed, i would say this is the better choice. Another plus is that it is not too pricey. I think it is below SGD20.

Anyway, for the past week, my face feels smoother. I was thinking that it might be the effect of using the 2 below samples from Clarins:

Long due post on my haul from the Body Shop sales in March/April. I can't even remember which month was it that i bought these stuff!

The stuff i got were some essentials that i normally use.

I love Body Butter especially the Shea one.

Shea travelling set containing a shower puff, a body butter, shower cream & body scrub.

It comes with a pouch that has green inner lining, which is soothing to look at. I really like the Shea smell, it's so yummy!

I guess these stuff can last me for a few months. My friend said i'm a bit loony for getting so many Body Butters but it's my favourite product from TBS.. ^^ There were many other things which i wanted to get but didn't, as the long queue at the cashier allowed me to review the stuff I picked up. Long queues are not that bad after all! =)

Walked into MAC to check out the Pret-A-Papier collection but it didn't interest me much. Anyhow, the SA managed to attract me with the promo, where you buy above $80, you'll be given a $10? voucher and a lipglass. =) i'm a sucker for this kind of promo.

Ichikami Shampoo and Conditioner

Bought this shampoo and conditioner set from Watson's just now. It's a brand i've not seen before and i'm very eager to try it out!

The desciption on the bottle says that it contains Rice Premium EX (Yusuru seesence, oil and protein originate in rice bran) plus 6 kinds of pure Japanese Herbal Essences! Actually i don't really know what are those but the shampoos smells good! =)

Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel

My buy for Labour Day! I read from Rouge Deluxe that BHG is having a sale so I trotted down there this evening. I have been wanting to get this moisturizer from Clinique for the longest time.

Reason I bought this is I have tried using the sample before and my face feels more supple after using it. My face used to be oily at the T-zone but really dry on the cheeks. After using this, my whole face became more balanced..not so much oilyness and no flaking skin on the cheeks as well. This means my face is well moisturized right? Hope my theory is correct.

Magazines GWP

Hello! I bought these 2 magazines some time back and thought of sharing it here.

First up is Steady magazine from Japan - April EditionIt came with a free HbG lunch tote/tote. It looked quite big on the cover but when opened, it is actually kinda small. It's more like a lunch tote. HbG stands for HamburGirl.

Hey all.. I'm finally back. Wanted to share my haul at Sasa recently. Silk Whitia masks going for $1.95 each. Usual price is $5.90. Have not tried this brand before but read some reviews that it's quite good?

Got some elf liquid eyeliners which was a really good deal. Usually each product cost $6.90 but now it's buy 2 for $9.90. I think these liquid eyeliners are really worth it. I didn't get to test it though and have not opened them. Shall post a swatch about them some time.

With any purchase at Sasa I am also entitled to buy the mini version of the Make Up Remover Eye & Lip from Maybelline. Here's a photo of it compared to the regular size. This is a really good eye makeup remover especially for Maybelline mascaras.

Saw this recycled Christmas tree at Bugis Junction, which has been decorated with hearts for Valentine's Day. So frugal huh? I think the tree is a bit cheesy though..haha

Have not celebrated Valentine's for the past 2 years..Boo.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope you had a great celebration. Mine was ok and i wasn't too happy rushing into the new year. I don't really know why. I'm back in Malaysia again and here's my post of my buys last week.

My haul from Watsons

Saw this interesting mask and thought of trying it. Have not used it though.
A cheap nail polish for RM2. Color looks pretty in the bottle but it's blah when applied to nails.

The half pack left from the Nivea Visage mask that I used. It's not that great as it was like a cream type of mask. The instruction was to spread it on your face for 15 to 20 mins and to wipe off with a cotton pad. I always thought this type of mask needs to be rinsed off. I followed the instruction but I feel this mask doesn't really work for me. I'm thinking of what to do with this remaining half pack.

There is a Elianto shop in my town, which is quite surprising considering how small my town is. I learned from the SA that the shop was a franchise instead of a branch.

The light purple nail polish only cost RM1 if you purchase any item from the shop. I can't remember if it needs to be above a certain amount.

The lippy in a chocolatey color (I forgot what's the name and the lippy is not with me right now).
When i went out of the mall, I saw the swatch on my hand and the color kinda surprised me because it was orangy instead of chocolatey.

When i got home, i did one more swatch and this is with flash.
Without flashWhat do you think of the color? It's still ok right? I have not tried it on my lips, hopefully it won't be too orangy.

I really feel i need to have a break from all my hauling as there's some matter at home which will put a strain on my finance. Sigh.. I really hope it will be alright soon. I am too tired and stressed out to handle it. Sorry for the sudden outburst but I just need to let it out. =) Thanks for reading!

Sorry for the delay in posting. Had a terrible Christmas eve =p I was supposed to return to M'sia on eve night but the Causeway was super jam packed! Hey all. Long time no post. Work has been holding me up and was busy doing Christmas shopping as well. Hehe. I jumped on the bandwagon and got the Esprique Precious Illuminate Fantasy Collection. =) It was retailing at S$48 at BHG Bugis, quite a good deal me thinks. I guess most of you must have seen the collection on other beauty blogs.

I got my mom a set of the Pleasures perfume from Estee Lauder. It came with a body lotion but I didn't take a picture of it. Also got my dad a perfume, he loves perfume. He can finish using a bottle in average 2 months time. There was a promotion at the Davidoff counter, a new perfume called 'Silver Shadow' or something like that retailing at S$69 for a 100ml bottle. The SA was kind enough to include these samples below for me. =)

When I was going through my stuff, I found an unopened eyeshadow that I got from Etude House, Petit Darling Eyes in PK002 Snow Pink, maybe like a month ago. LOL, treasures I have that I don't know about. On the right is the Majolica Majorca Honey Pump Gloss in BE211.

The color looks yummy and it's discounted at S$6.90 from the original price of S$9.90.

However, the texture is quite thick and sticky. Nude with shimmers.

On a side note, my colleague helped me to buy this Absolut Vodka Raspberry from the airport for only S$26.10! Of course i won't be drinking this alone, it's actually meant for pre-Zoukout. =D

FOTD, Mask Review and Eveything in Between

Aloha! Here's a FOTD i did one day some time last week for work.

The palette i used is the Majolica Majorca Majolook (Luminoustic) BR799.

I had some free time and was bored out of my mind, so surfed some YouTube videos for Bow Tie Hair Bun tutorial. I don't remember which one i refered to but here's the pic of my first try.

It's a little messy but looks ok. Would want to tie this one day and actually going out with it. Haha..

A simple EOTD for Sunday, only used eyeliners and mascara.

Here's the excess essence that I poured out from the pack for future use. So much!
The mask has a peculiar scent to it. It smelled a little bit like bubble gum. After application, the essence absorbed nicely into my face, without leaving any sticky residue that you tend to have with some other masks. However, a day or 2 after using this mask, I noticed some break outs on my face. I am wondering if the break outs are caused by the mask or it's due to my PMS. Hmm.. Anyway, I still have a couple more of this mask in different ingredients. Will do a follow up review about this. Also, it's very affordable at $1.95 per piece (buy 2 get 1 free). When i was at Sasa buying the mask and was leaving the store, i overheard a lady walking in saying that she'd want to get some Skinlite masks because Sasa is the only one carrying it! Seems like Skinlite has some fans here in Singapore. =)

My HG Cleanser

Hello..It's Saturday but sadly i'm working again! I even need to work tomorrow. =(

Anyway, I wanted introduce you to my HG cleanser, which i've been using for a couple of years now. In between, I did change to other brands but my HG is still the best.

Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Cottonseed

This is a new packaging/formula which was launched i think early of 2009? Previously it's just a gentle foaming cleanser withOUT cottonseed. The one that i use is for normal to combination skin. It is not drying and really cleans the face. As compared to the cleanser from Lancome, Clarins' is so much better. Love it!

As I have really bad skin, I need to go for my monthly facial to ensure it will not get worse. When I was in my teens, i had a bad case of acnes. This left scars on my face which are still visible now. My face also have lots of freckles which i am very worried about. Nowadays, i mostly get blackheads and whiteheads on my face, especially when i am stressed or tired due to work. The place i go to for my indulgence is Adonis. It's a local brand in Singapore and have expanded to other countries like Malaysia and Hong Kong.

The facial comes in packages that you can purchase e.g. 10 times, 20 times, 30 times, etc. One thing which i don't like about them is that the beauty consultant always persuade you to take an expensive package or buy their products. Unfortunately, i have a soft heart and did buy some stuff from them. -_-'''

Phyto Mask and Phyto Serum

According to the BC, these range can help to even my skin tone, lighten my freckles, etc (which i can't really remember). I really hope it will do all the magical things to my face but one thing i can say is that Adonis is really suitable for my skin. The ingredients are usually plant based.

As i was in Vivo City, thought of dropping by MAC to have a look and went home with something.

elf Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Baby Lips. The color looks wonderful in the tube but i have not swatch it so, it's still questionable. It came in a twistable tube, which is usually used for glosses. Nice!

Some make up brushes from Grobi. I dont know what brand is this, anyone has any idea?

FreshKon color lenses. I got it at $50 for 3 boxes, usually it retails at $20+ per pair.

Sorry, wanted to post this on Sunday but forgot about it. >.< Here are some magazines that have great GWPs. Firstly it's Amica, only Kinokuniya has this GWP.

It came with perfume samples by Narciso Rodriguez.

InRed (Jap magazine) came with a Tsumori Chisato tote bag. The print on the tote is too cute!

Moving on to some buys from Watsons, my favorite store.

I finally bought a good eye make up remover, from Maybelline. It is pretty effective as compared to Missha but Fairy Drops mascara is really stubborn. It won't budge and i need to apply at least twice of the remover to get it off. The remover works well with Maybelline mascara though. Also got a lippy. Have not done a swatch of it yet.

ZA have a two way foundation set that came with 2 refills, a casing and a heart shaped pouch.

The casing is really sweet and kawaii. You can see my camera's reflection on it. =)

On a side note, some tid bits i got. Jagabee purple potato!

Hello..long time no post! As usual, have been busy with work. Clocking in almost 12 hours every day in the office, especially if it's beginning of the month. Anyway, let's forget about that. We shall move to something we are all interested in....beauty haul!

I bought some stuff from Sasa Bugis. My main intention going there is actually just to browse around but...always end up with some purchases.

It is not too sparkly but i guess it would be a good base shadow? I don't have any gold eye shadow before. Am wondering what color to pair it with. Shall do some experimentation. The texture of the shadow is not really jelly-like. When you touch it, it's really soft and kind of creamy but not as creamy as cream shadow. You get what i mean? haha

Also got some masks from Skinlite as it was having a 'buy2 get 1 free' promotion. From left: Refining Herb, Green Tea Essence and Royal Jelly Essence. It is only $1.95 for 1.

Something interesting i saw: Repair Foot Pack! It's like a mask for your feet. Also $1.95 for 1. Can give this a try as i have really dry feet and cracked heels.. =(

Beauty Labo Leave-On Treatment Gel for colored hair. I have used this before and it is kinda effective. Of course it is not comparable to Kerastase or other professional hair care brand but i am on a budget, so gotta watch my pocket!

Came with a lot of stuff, a mirror, big tooth comb, toothbrush, face towel, 2 empty bottles, 2 little containers and of course a pouch. Only $3! Initially wanted to get the bottle only, it already costs $1.55 for 2 bottles. This so much more worth it. =) Btw, the bottles are meant for the excess essence from my face mask (got this tip from Pris).

Review of Fairy Drops & Maybelline Volume Express

Happy Belated Halloween!

Sorry a day late to wish you all. Anyway, hope you all had an enjoyable night last night. As for me, i have been bitten by the flu bug. So, had to stay at home to nurse my flu away. Seems like i am always falling sick lately.

Moving on to something i did today, had time on my hands and utilized it to do a review of Fairy Drops against Maybelline Volume Express.

I don't use any primer or curler before applying the mascara. Here are the results:

As you can see, FD doesn't really lengthen the lashes as much as VE.

Both don't really curl the lashes too. However, if used with curler, it should give a good result.

VE is so obviously longer than FD.

With this review done, i can definitely say that Maybelline Volume Express gives good volume and lengthening effects. FD is not that clumpy as compared to VE. This can always be solved with a lash comb. Both are are not that easy to remove maybe because of my lousy eye makeup remover (from Missha). Anyone can recommend a good one to me?

All in all, i love both mascaras eventhough FD fall short of my expectation. I still like it because of the pink packaging. Haha! I've been using VE for a while now and am loving it. I do have other mascaras like Lancome, Sasa and Rimmel which i don't find as good as VE. I have a new one from Body Shop which i have yet to open. It's blue! Shall do a review on it some day. Hope you guys find this review helpful.

Update: I just saw the tube of VE, it states 'Hypercurl' but it didn't really curled my lashes that well.

This is my last haul before my next pay day! Some stuff i got from Watsons:

Palmer's Olive Body Butter & Good Look hair mousse

The body butter has a really refreshing smell which i liked a lot. Initially wanted to get some lotion but saw this and thought of trying it. It is really moisturizing and has anti aging peptide complex (whatever that means). The hair mousse is really affordable, only $5.90 as compared to other brands like L'oreal, Sexy Girl, etc, which are usually above $10. However, it doesn't really hold my curls and tend to make them frizzy. Boo..I'll just stick to my styling gel (will post a picture of it next time).

Some face products: Activa Brightening Mask (less than $3), Fairy Drops Mascara (!!) & Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Sheets.

The Cleansing Oil cotton sheets really work wonders. I usually buy the small packet as it's more convenient and i can just toss it in my gym bag. It's cheap as well. Around $3.

I really really like the packaging of Fairy Drops coz it's pink! The wand is unique, as you can see on the cover. I have not opened it yet, but have tried the demo at Watsons. I think it's pretty good. Perhaps i could do a review of this against another brand of mascara.

Ending my post with a NOTD. This is done with one of the $1 nail polish. This color is really sweet in person (i mean the color, not me, hehe).

The texture is bad, not smooth at all, creates streaks and worst of all, the polish in the bottle is drying. This is just the first application! That's the result of $1 nail polish i guess >.<

Nail Polish & Magazines Haul

I got some really cheap nail polishes at Tg Pagar MRT station on Wednesday. The polish was going for $1 each!! I also got a base, top coat, nail art pen and glitter nail art polish.

The base and top coat was $5 for both. The nail art pen that i got could create 3-D type of design, which is something new that i learned about. From the photo it looks like blue but actually it's purple. The glitter polish was in gold.

The $1 nail polishes:

Look at this bottle, with a big diamante on top. Kawaii!

The SA also recommended this Cuticle Revitaliser Oil, which i find quite effective. Although the brand on it states OPI but i doubt it's original. It costs only $10 for 3 (i got it together with the other 2 nail art polishes).

It came with a Stila Lip Glaze type of brush, which is quite neat! No spilling.

Review: Watsons Bird's Nest Essence Facial Mask

Hi. As promised, this is my review about the Bird's Nest Mask that i got last week, especially done for Pris. =) I've never done any review before, but i do hope this will help you to decide whether to get this mask.

Ingredients (sorry couldn't get it in 1 photo, so separated it into 2):

I like this mask as it has a plastic sheet which comes with the mask, ensuring you don't have to unfold the mask in a mess, you know, with the essence dripping. Once i put it on, it gives a cooling feeling even though i did not put it in the fridge beforehand. Usually i do put my mask in the fridge to cool it first.

It recommends to wait for 15 to 20 minutes before removing it. After that, there will still be some essence on your face, which you need to gently massage into your face.

I would say it doesn't really have an immediate effect that you can see with the naked eye. Although my face is the oily type, it doesn't make my face oilier, which is a good point. I can't think of any con of this product. On the box, it states that it will leave your skin silky smooth, with a natural radiance. There are 6 pieces in a box, which could last me for 1 month plus i guess. Would i repurchase? Yes of course unless i find a better mask to replace this. Hehe..

Never Ending Haul

Happy Deepavali! Before the weekend started, i've already bought some stuff which i kinda regretted. Anyway, the damage has been done, sadly. I was passing by Raffles Place at Chevron House when i chanced upon the Lancaster roadshow. It reminded me about the SMS that i received about the goodies bag. So, i went over to ask about it and as always, it's already fully redeemed. =( I was going to leave when i saw the Retinology was on display there. To make a long story short, i went away with a bag filled with Lancaster stuff.

I had a sample of this product previously from a magazine freebie. It was quite good as my skin looks smoother and brighter with continuous use of the product. It states that it lifts your face, making it look younger. I don't feel that though. The one i bought is 30ml which is quite ok considering you only need less than a pea size of it per application. Let's hope it will justify its price, $138! To me, it's quite pricey. I got some freebies though.

Also dropped by Watsons to look around and they were having a promo. Buy any 1 box of their in-house mask, get 2 pieces of masks free. I bought the Bird Nest one and got the Rose Water& Chamomile for free.

Had been wanting to get a red color lipstick for awhile now, and thought this Maybelline one looks ok.

Today, went to Orchard to meet my mom after her work and got some magazines from Prologue, a book shop in Ion. Wanted to get them coz of the GWP! Read about this from Haru's blog.

Elle had 3 freebies - The Body Shop Love Etc EDP 2ml, a pouch and a Biotherm White D-tox Nuit. Super worthy! Amica came with one i nouvi Liptreat. This is not bad too.

After reading so much about Etude House, i finally know where to find it in Singapore. The place is really quite hard to find if you are not familiar with Orchard area. It's located near to the MRT exit to CK Tang from Ion. Today they had a free mask for every person who walked into their store, i think even without purchase.

O2 White Mask Sheet is the freebie, while i got the Pomegranate mask, a couple of nail polish and a pink eyeshadow. The eyeshadow is really shimmery. Forgot to do a swatch though. Hehe..

This is a look i did for a night out last week. The pallete i used is Givenchy Eyeshadow Quarter in Black Denim which i bought from Pris' blog sale. I can't remember which mascara i used >.<
A close up look. I was using the eyeliner from MAC, Powerpoint eye pencil in Teal. I like this color a lot! My bff commented that teal doesn't really match my purple lenses but i think it's Ok.

Oh..the weekend passes by so quickly. It's already Sunday night, tomorrow is a new working week. I am dreading it =p I was at BHG Bugis yesterday and they were having the bi-annual super sale. Almost everything was on sale and you get rebate vouchers for cosmetic and fragrance products buys. I so wanted to get something but unfortunately was short on time as i was catching a movie.

Anyway, i managed to go back today to satisfy the shopaholic in me. =D

At first, i wanted to get the Coffret D'or eye makeup pallete but the SA is totally unfriendly. I moved over to the Kose counter and the SA at least spoke to me in a decent manner. Wonder what's up with these SAs in BHG? I bought the Esprique Precious pallete in T-5 and also some Bourjois products. Bourjois SA is so much better!

Here are my hauls:

I asked the SA to recommend me some colours for daily look and she said T-5 should be good. It is also a limited edition colour. I asked her to demo it on my eyes but she can't do so as it was the sales period. She did ask me to go back after the sales so she could do it for me. Not bad!

I got a blusher and 2 mini nail polish from Bourjois . The mini items are too cute to resist. I have been eying these for some time now. Finally got it.

Left to right: Blush in 15 Rose Eclat, mini polish in 15 Breakfast a Londres (a pale beige with shimmers) and 38 Diner a Paris (a dark brown with shimmers).

The blusher came with a brush inside.Swatch. Isn't it pretty?

My NOTD. It's a bit pale don't you think? This is after 2 coats.
I added some crystals to add some pizazz to it. =)
Sorry about the crooked nail. Have broken it some time ago and waiting for it to grow back.

Hi~ I received the stuff i bought from Pris' blog sale this morning. SO happy! This is my first purchase online (yea, i know i'm slow). Anyway, there's always a first time for everything. I got 2 items from her, Givenchy Powder & Cream Eyeshadow Quartet in Black Denim and a Paul&Joe Eye Color in 94.

Last night, i was very proud of myself as i managed to cook something which is tasty (instead of being just edible). I present to you, my version of Fried Rice with Egg and Celery. For those who doesn't like celery, this might not appeal to you.Does it look yummy? It is to me. =)

Mid Autumn Mooncake Festival

Mid autumn mooncake festival is coming soon this Sunday. *Updated: it should be Saturday! I got some mooncakes from my friend and indulged in one. Only one, because i don't want to add more fats into my already chubby body. =)

This is the one i opened. Its name is Sesame White Lotus Single Yolk from Tai Thong. Tai Thong is a chain of Chinese restaurants in Malaysia. It is not available in Singapore i think.

Today was my day off as I was working yesterday (Sunday). Had the chance to go Vivo City for my facial and did some little shopping at Bugis. Got a MAC eyeliner (my first buy from MAC!), some Face Shop nail polish, a pair of cheap shoes and also a Cancam magazine.

My 'virginal' buy from MAC. Hey..wait a minute. No, this is not the first item i bought from MAC. I bought the eyelash curler few years ago. So, this should be my second buy. Hehe..

Powerpoint eye pencil in Tealo, a deep green colour. I don't have any green eyeliner , this will be a good addition to my collection IMHO.
The pair of shoes i got from Bugis Village for $15. It is very comfortable. Its brand is Vincci on the inside but the gold plate states Kunzhilian or something like that.
My magazine indulgence: Cancam November issue, GWP is a Jill Stuart flowery tote.
I'll do the NOTD tomorrow, if i am off early from work. Hugs and kisses.

Hi..i'm back from Malaysia. It's another working day tomorrow =( Why does the weekend go by so fast? Anyway, was planning to post on my buys in Msia but i didn't buy much except for an eye shadow from In2it and a nail polish. Today, i did go to Bugis Junction for a stroll with my mom, supposedly for window shopping but ended up with some accessories. Here are my buys from a stall located at the entrance next to Mos Burger. The name of the stall is Six Road Show. They were having sale, necklaces going for $8 each, earrings $6 per pair, bracelets around $6 if i'm not wrong and rings for $6 each. Ok, enough with the blabbing, here are some piccies!

Again, i dropped by Kinokuniya, a Japanese book store chain. Wanted to see if there is any nice mooks available but all were too expensive for my budget. But...i did spot that Harper's Bazaar was having a GWP (exclusively at Kino).

The freebie was a Loreal shampoo (anti-dandruff).

One of my favourite cosmetics is eye make up. I love mascara, eye liner, and of course eye shadow!. Today, i'm gonna show you some of the eye shadows i own and the swatches. Pardon me if the swatches are not perfect as this is my first time doing it. =)

I love this range of eye shadows from O2 Skin, a local brand in Singapore.

The 5 colors that I have. I bought the first two at $6.95 each. Once, i saw the booth in Orchard Cineleisure and it was going for $2.95 each, so i bought three more =)

They even included the instruction on how to apply it. As you can see i bought this from Malaysia for RM49.90, relatively cheaper than Singapore which is $25.90.

That's all for this post. I'm thinking of what other colours should i get as i have lots of brown. I'll be going back to Malaysia tomorrow as it's a long weekend holiday in Singapore due to Hari Raya. Will be going to Watsons definitely. Shall post my haul (if any) when i'm back.

Last Friday was one of my friend's birthday and i needed to get him a present. I was thinking of getting him a perfume so dropped by Sasa to have a look. Got him a Davidoff Cool Water Game which is really nice smelling. I was browsing the store when the SA talked me into buying some stuff which i do not need. -_-'''

From top left, Cyber Colours BB Cream (SGD 29.90), this magic hair pin up thingy, fake lashes, Sasa mirror and Maybelline Fruity Jelly lip glosses (SGD 8.50 for 2!)

These fake lashes were going for 3 pairs for just $6 although only limited to 2 choices. I got 2 in criss-cross and one in natural. Gonna give one pair of the criss cross type to my cousin.

How cute is this mirror from Sasa? SUPER!

The SA introduced me to this BB cream from Cyber Colours, which is a new product if i'm not wrong. After seeing the hype of BB cream in the market, thought of giving this a try.

On the tube, it mentions moisturising, whitening, natural coverage and anti-aging. Sounds wonderful. =)

My skin has a lot of freckles as you can see..
After, it seems to really cover up my freckles and even out the skin tone. I have not tried this on my face though.

Body Shop and Watsons Buys

Body Shop was having a promo with any purchase above $60, you'll get a recycling bag (or do you call it an environmentally friendly bag?). There are 4 designs to choose from. I chose the Soya So Good.

I got the White Musk Sumptuous Silk shower gel, Pink Grapefruit shower gel, Honey Moisturising Shampoo and Conditioner, All in one Fase Base and a shower puff.

I have no idea what is the correct way of using the face base. It came with a sponge which is like the one you usually use for liquid foundation. I have been using this base dry but it gives quite good coverage, better than the ZA two way foundation.

I dropped by Watsons today and got a few stuff.

Cleasing Express Lotion (Sebum) for oily skin, from Mandom. It was going for $14.90. This product is water base and act as make up remover, cleanser, moisturiser all in one. It's good for days when you are rushing and want to complete your usual routine in just one step.

There's a new product in store, Essential Damage-Care hair products. I first saw the ad in a MRT station, it promises to care even for the last 15cm of hair.

I got the Nuanace Airy set, which has a shampoo, conditioner and treatment for only $9.95, which is quite cheap i think. Smells nice and very eager to try it out.

There's also this Pocket Pedi set which is $3.95. It has a nail brush, pumice stone, cuticle sticks and a mini countour salon board. Very complete even though in a small packaging.

Watsons also had an in-house magazine which is called 'Glow', abouth health and beauty. It comes free with a pouch and is only $2.

Quite good buys from Watsons and i got additional 20 bonus points for my Watsons member card. =)

Hello..On Sat & Sun last week, TLB the magazine was having a road show in Bugis Junction. My friend and I stumbled upon it and the promoter said that we'll get a bag of goodies if we purchase a copy. So we did. These are the stuff in the bag:

Shopping marathon weekend

Weekend just went by and i shopped like mad. Bought quite a lot of stuff (for my standard). Let me try to insert the pics here..my haul :)

Benefit was having a promotion at Tangs Orchard. For any purchase of 1 perfume + 1 cosmetic product, you're entitled to a free charm bracelet and $10 Tangs shopping voucher. I bought this perfume:

I was attracted to it because of the packaging..too cute! Please excuse the messy background..

The cosmetic product that i bought is 'Justine Case'.

It has miniatures 'California Kissin', 'Eyecon', 'Benetint' and 'Some Kind-a Gorgeous'.

Have not tried it yet. Once i do, perhaps i shall write a review here.

Nice no? The SA was also kind enough to give me a sample of Something About Sofia, another perfume from their new range.

I was walking around in Orchard Central and stumbled upon MISSHA! I've missed it for a long time after the shops disappeared in Singapore. According to the SA, Missha changed management and this is the first re-opened branch. They have changed the packaging of the products as well. I bought a nail polish and eye make up remover. They were having a sale and total was less than $20 including a pencil sharpener (i didn't take a pic of that).

Last but not least, i bought some earrings from Vivo City flea market. Swarovski crystal earrings, $5 a pair. There was also another pair of earrings free with purchase and i chose the rainbow design.

One final indulgence, Citigems Avoire diamond pendant and white gold necklace. Something to reward myself :)
